01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Located on the 1st floor of a commercial building right outside the east exit of Nishidai Station, Kyotarusushiro Nishidaiten is a dedicated takeout shop with no eat-in seating. The counter display features the shop's signature chakin-zushi—vinegared rice wrapped in a thin sheet of cooked egg—alongside well-seasoned battera pressed mackerel sushi, assorted nigiri, and maki rolls like golden squid. Ranging from quick medium rolls to carefully prepared pressed sushi, the lineup works equally well for a relaxed dinner at home or as an extra platter to brighten the evening table.
For unexpected visitors or family dinners, the staff can also consult on customized platters made to order on the spot. The counter stays open continuously from 8:30 to 21:00, and payment can be settled with credit cards as well as code payments like PayPay and Rakuten Pay. It provides a dependable neighborhood stop to pick up a neatly packed box of sushi on the way through the station.
